Tanner has been busy all winter fixing up Da Ol' Lemore!! I haven't been so good about updating the site so will do an all-in-one entry.

He has made a lot of progress with the boat and is almost finished. Winter projects included:
---Replacing the old counsel, fixing and painting it
---The rest of the boat was carpeted
---New seats were put in
---The wiring for the motor, steering, etc. was also complete

Bryson, his helper, was his right hand man throughout the project! All that is left is painting the exterior and she is ready to rock!!

Day 1: July 2, 2013

Today is the day the project begins! Tanner bought materials from the local Mac's Hardware. They included marine carpeting, some glue and ear muffs! So far a small total of $80 has been put in to the "Hail Mary".

Tanner headed to New Salem today to start on the boat where dad dropped it off. His labor of love begins in his dad's shop. His goal for today is to get the carpeting done and see if that motor still runs! The "ear muffs" will allow him to do this without having to put the boat in the water. Weather is a prime with a high of 85 degrees today... if nothing else he is sure to get a good sweat on!

....
The blog continues with the consensus for the day...

The before photos:

Tanner started working on the boat and realized it may be more work than he anticipated. He started by tearing off the carpet ....

And then started working on the motor, when he realized that he was in more work then he was good for.......His brain got a work-out today when he started to trace wires to their appropriate place.

He had a few visitors throughout the day so could harldy get the job done! But overall, it was a good start!

Day 2:
He re-carpeted the boat.

Day 3:
Tanner replaced all the rivets on the bow of the boat... about 50 of them!!

Day 4:
Tanner decided it was time to take out the hydrolic trim pump and figure out the problem! He found out he needed to replace the "O" rings.... 8 of them to be exact. He took the pump home to work on it there.
